I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.

This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

This is a standard option with your competitor, Tableau. This should have been available day one. Why the continued delay? Why the disconnect so often between related Microsoft products?

We need this feature. We have spent hours creating these visuals in PBI and need this to export. This will be an improvement that show the true benefits of PBI

Thanks

What I found as a workaround for now is:

1)Publish report to power BI online service
2)Pin it as a live dashboard to the Power BI online service
3)Use the print option and then use the Print to PDF option.
4)Use a PDF to Excel converter to get the data just as I want it in Excel.

We understand that PBI subscription model is quite cheaper than to offer by competitions. However, PBI and MS team cannot overlook their own product MS Excel utilization in market. I strongly believe this feature is a HIGHLY needed feature in the market.

Need this functionality to prepare external exports from BI files. Please add this feature to BI capabilities.

Very much need this functionality! We don't want to give people access to the underlying data, but do need to be able to give them totals in a summary table format.

This lack of functionality is extremely frustrating, We have many users who need the summarized detail from a single visual or request an ad-hoc copy of detail and do not need access to the entire dashboard. It would be helpful to simply share an export with them.

Download visible values or something like that would be fine for everyone we support...
This could be a starting point at least.
I can understand the complexity of having it in a already pivoted format with drill down functionality when downloading, but all we need is for it to be pasted as is.
Please get this added ASAP.

This is a must. How many votes are needed to get this needed feature to be sooner on the time line? We can already export data to Excel from PowerBI.com so I can't imagine it would be that complex to get a matrix to export in a table format. Thanks!
