Being able to set transparency for Colors. RGBA or equivalent is extremely critical visualization tool. This is very helpful when you want to layer visualizations on top of each other. Ex. Layer an image on top of a text box. Layer different parts of an area chart. Layer a combo chart. This is a basic

One chart with numbers on top of another chart with % and data bars. Would solve the other missing feature of basing a data bar on a different column.

Crazy that this request was added in August 2015 and yet, here we are in May 2019, and it's still not available. Agree with all the other commenters that this feature would be hugely useful (and seemingly so simple)

OMG, I cannot imagine how much better my reports and dashboards would be if we could move from a six character hex color code to an eight character one
