Ability to define rules at column level, to control the data fields available to different roles (e.g. employee salary visible to the users in finance roles only, while other employee details visible to other department roles).

In a world of GDPR, this is absolutely critical. Hoping that now its embedded in SSAS for a while, we'll see this in Power BI very soon.

It would be nice to have this feature to grant permission to view sensitive information like costs, gross margin etc.

Please add column level security to Manage roles. We need to hide Costs and Gross Margin information to our vendors. We really need this feature. Thanks.
