Can we add sparkline support to tables and matrix? Native Excel PivotTable supports it.

12/20/21: The feature was shipped as Preview Feature in the December 2021 Update.
We're in the process of planning and developing the feature! Look out for it in the coming months.

RE: Sparkline

Sparklines for multiple measures in one column + show data labels in tooltip on hover over would make a very refined interactive experience!

RE: Sparkline

Back in November 2018, Amir signalled that MS would figure out a way to "make [sparklines in a matrix]" happen:

Will...Phil Seamark is so sick of me nagging for Sparklines at each PowerBI User Group meeting that he's started not showing up to meetings.

We miss him. Help bring him back. Figure out that way to "make it happen"...even if it's just a simple tweak like allowing us to have rectangular SVG images instead of the current square frame 'placeholder'.

RE: Sparkline

Sparkline(and its variants) is a must feature as it is one of the most useful visualisation but we do have a workaround not elegant but opens possibilities to creating complex visualisation .This is by creating a measure with SVG code and categorising this measure as an image URL

Here are examples

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/SVG-Sparklines-Line/td-p/486271
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/SVG-Gauges/m-p/490058

This does not work when Report is connected via live connections as the image URL is greyed.

Ultimately , we do want sparklines but we do not have an ETA of when this will be delivered
so please vote for this as well

RE: Sparkline

I don't understand how this is on the front page of Power BI ideas for Top and Hot, and it hasn't been responded to in over 4 years. Seriously? Are there only 2 people working on the BI team?

RE: Sparkline

Sparklines have little value as an individual object and must be in a table to be useful. Other people have mentioned that this is a basic feature that other products have so please, please please get this prioritized and completed ASAP.
Thanks!!

It's past Dec 2, 2018. So more than 4 years after this went "under review". I now there is an SVG Graphics viewer on GitHub now.

I know how hard it can be to provide info about timing for adding new features. But a 4-year waiting period for something this basic (and this requested) is a little crazy, and not very useful in a "community".
