Can we add sparkline support to tables and matrix? Native Excel PivotTable supports it.

12/20/21: The feature was shipped as Preview Feature in the December 2021 Update.
We're in the process of planning and developing the feature! Look out for it in the coming months.

RE: Sparkline

Works great UNTIL user select a single month. The entire data table shows up blank. I think I understand why this happens but the end users aren't pleased when they want to see just 1 month of data and are unable to do so.

RE: Sparkline

Nice work. What about conditional formatting? To color bars in sparklines for example. Thanks

RE: Sparkline

So far it seems to work only for numerical columns. Does not work for measures. Any plans on making it work with calculated measures in the future release?

RE: Sparkline

Was happy to see this in the 2021 wave2 release! One question, looking at the screen shot in that wave2 document, I see that the sparklines and bars both look like they're facing the same "square images only" look that existing workarounds (like the Dax svg measure) have. Is that going to continue to be the case with the native sparklines or will report authors be able to make stretch to different aspect ratios.

RE: Sparkline

Any update, how much time would it take Even Microsoft require Years to get in Products.?

RE: Sparkline

Still No Reply/Action on this Idea, we need this Badly no more workaround for such a basic feature.

RE: Sparkline

Do Microsoft really need so much time to implement such a simple feature .. :(

RE: Sparkline

More important (and more useful) would be the ability to add JSON custom formatting following the exact API we already know and use within the SPO list functionality. This would allow granular (and dynamic) control of what appears within EACH field within a table. I also think you could apply this custom formatting at the field level within ANY visualization allowing you to have (for example) a scatter plot where certain dots (based on the JSON) are larger and a different color because they meet certain criteria outside the dataset being used to calculate the chart.
For example, if a dot is associated to an item where the field [CRITICAL] is true, then color=RED.
