I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Excellent suggestion - this is a key gap for financial reporting
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
I need my users to be able to export the matrix they see and not be required to know PowerPivot to use their data!
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
It is absurd that a microsoft tool cannot export a summarized matrix to excel when all the other BI tools can do it.
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Agreed, this is a must-have feature for our users.
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
I also agree that this feature is absolutely necessary.
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Please, we need this!
Did all the work to get this particular function that i assumed was integrated.
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
This feathure is a 'must have'. Our users are unhappy because they can't export their matrixes "as is".
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
This is a critical feature for our business users. Many want to export the matrix(pivot) as we built it in power bi via excel or pdf. The only option available in the web is to export to excel and then the matrix format is not even there for them. The assumption that everything will be done within power bi is not reasonable. Users will always want to export what they see and even the Export PDF feature that came out in August is only available in desktop. I also tried the power bi export feature on the web and that too falls short - this feature does not provide the entire graph of the data - only a picture so if your data scrolls down, you only see the first part of the screen.

Me too. Can't believe that such a simple function isn't available. No point trying to do clever stuff if basic stuff isn't supported
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Very frustrating that I cannot export the visual to Excel - instead the information that is imported is simply not usable.
