Pro users have the ability to schedule refresh for daily (intra day) and weekly. For some datasets, monthly is the right cadence. Can we have a scheduled refresh option that is Monthly (and lets us choose which day of the month the refresh is to occur)?

Yes, need a monthly refresh option as quite a few reports only get monthly data

also think about query chaching / reducing useless traffic on the gateway etc..
Would be great to specifcy in a calender view also specific dates throughout the year (as e.g. possible in the tool xtract universal for SAP BW extractions). In our company we have a precise reporitng schedule what is available when (respecting globally relvant public holidays etc. - that's why it's not everry month the 3rd calendar day, but rather the 3rd working day in my global companies definition of working day from reporting perspective).

Is this the desktop version of power bi or the gateway that needs updating? I currently have no option for monthly refresh through a gateway

Monthly is an option, I see it in my PBI Schedule? Maybe you just haven't updated for a long time.

Please update this... it would be helpful we could specify not only the daily, weekly but also bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly etc. Allow the users to select frequency (daily, weekly and monthly) and the number of repetitions (enter an integer for the selected frequency, 2-weeks for every 2 weeks, starting from selected date)
