It's a very useful option for us to be able to refresh datasets containing Python scripts. Otherwise, it would be detrimental not to leverage Python's capabilities in data transformation, as we would be unable to refresh datasets on the Power BI service using an on-premises gateway."

Really need this feature so that I can refresh BI on automated batch job; I used Python ETL with sql server & cube data source for BI report.

It would be great if Microsoft could give us a status update on this important feature request. Personal gateway isn't going to cut it for production use with many/most larger organizations.

This feature is very crucial for the business and it would be great if someone from Microsoft fabric can provide us some light on what's happening with this enhancement.

after months of work on python script to run ML models prediction I a unable to auto refresh my data. we need this resolved asap to make use of the python script feature in power bi

Without enterprise gateway support for power bi python scripting, python scripting is practically useless for organizations. This feature should be added at the earliest to allow users to utilize the power of python scripting.

Why do we bother upvoting these?We never get any feedback from Microsoft as to whether it's being looked into or whether it's been rejected.Microsoft always encourages voting on their support replies, but then do nothing with it. It almost seems like a cop-put to say "we don't have it, but rather than bothering up, go and click this pointless button with no feedback".I'd like to even know if it's not going to be implemented, that would be a better system. Any kind of 2-way communication would be nice.
