I think it would be useful to have similiar methods as there are already for Partial Field Loading.e.g. make the methods better to understand.SetAutoCalcFieldsAddAutoCalcFieldsAreFieldsAutoCalc

Something in addition to AppSourceCop.json would be nice, to predefine the base level for namespaces. Additionally, like in Visual Studio, it would be great to have the option to rename namespaces when moving objects from one directory to another.Anyway, to enforce usage of namespaces there is CodeCop AA0247, which we switched to „error“ in our project rulesets. This helps us to enforce usage of namespaces.

RE:

We have just come through a period of two weeks where our Power BI Premium Capacity has experienced serious issues. These issues were caused by three rogue spark jobs that was stuck in a running state and could not be cancelled by anyone with any set of privileges. Over time, the jobs consumed more and more resources and eventually they caused 150% CU consumption. When we turned of all other backend processes we managed to get the backend utilization down to 80%, this mind you, was dumb luck. Running constantly at 80% the rogue jobs made sure it took a full week to burndown the excess capacity used, and everything dependent on backend resources in our environment was rendered completely useless for this time period. Some time around a week after the problem started one of the jobs stopped by itself. At this point all production workloads were running as intended, but we could not do any development work because it might throw the capacity back over the edge. Then, two weeks after the problem first occurred, the last two jobs died. We were passengers the entire time. In situations like these it has to be possible to do a hard restart of all related workloads in the capacity, or even better, force shutdowns of individual workloads. Otherwise, the product is highly risky for use in a production environment. For my team specifically we burned three weeks worth of consultant time for development, not even mentioning the cost of delay for the projects we are running. Regardless, the worst part is that we have to seriously re-evaluate our technology choices as we are currently building a data integration platform using these services. And data integration systems cannot just be down for a week with no feasible solution other than just waiting and hoping the problem goes away. This issue was registered in Microsoft ticket: 2408200050003055

How many votes does this issue need to have before it is considered necessary by Microsoft? It most definitely is a hard stop for us moving to Planning Optimization. Thanks, Sheree

RE:

It's a very useful option for us to be able to refresh datasets containing Python scripts. Otherwise, it would be detrimental not to leverage Python's capabilities in data transformation, as we would be unable to refresh datasets on the Power BI service using an on-premises gateway."
