Add security to show/hide any specific page (Tab) on a report based on users privileges / Roles.

Thanks for all the feedback! Currently, Power BI does not have a security feature for pages; however, using conditional page navigation and RLS, you can create a custom navigation experience that shows different page options for different roles.

With over 1,170 votes at this time (03/2019), what does it take to get Microsoft to notice this much needed addition?
RE: Page (Tab) level Security.
This would be very helpful to serve e.g. different communities with the same report (e.g. mgmt / Controlling sees all; Sales only part A and Production only part B)
RE: Page (Tab) level Security.
Essential. Avoids duplicate reports
RE: Page (Tab) level Security.
I agree this is crucial. Unlike other users I did not want to create duplicate reports (because of maintenance issues) and as a result I used the one report for everyone. Using a combination of RLS and buttons. I was able to hide the tabs are replace them with navigation buttons. However, we still had users that can click on a button navigate to a report and see blank charts because of RLS.
This is obviously not very professional.

RE: Page (Tab) level Security.
I'm surprised that such a basic function isn't available.
RE: Page (Tab) level Security.
A very much needed feature to avoid duplicate reports and improve security.
