Wow, it’s 2024 and we’re still dragging pages around in Power BI like it’s 2017 – despite all the AI advancements. Who needs an efficient sorter interface when we can reminisce about the good old days, right? Come on, Microsoft, give us a break!

I am a little surprised this does not have more votes. I watched the video guy in a cube and he mentioned he had this idea but I could not find it. will circle this

I asked and got an update from Mohammad at power platform conference 24: it's still in progress, implementation was blocked by a major technical issue, but it is still being worked on and will happen at some point in the future.

Another possibility would be to have Copilot analyze the cost of all levels and present a summarized analysis or estimate.
RE:
At a minimum, it would be helpful to have a report that would show the complete break-down (top to bottom) of costs by the individual types (Material, Labor, Overhead) summarized across all levels.

At a minimum, it would be helpful to have a report that would show the complete break-down (top to bottom) of costs by the individual types (Material, Labor, Overhead) summarized across all levels. For standard cost environments, this is possible by using the "Details of multilevel standard cost" checkbox in the Calculation details. That checkbox is ok when reviewing a single item. However, it would be more helpful to have a report that would show the entire multi-level costed Bill of materials. In addition, for non-Standard cost environments there isn't any way to view or analyze the complete cost of multi-level BOMs since the lower "subassemblies" are then consumed as Material. I realize there will be variations to the subassembly cost depending on previous Production orders. But, since this is the most common request we get from clients that have multi-level BOMs, at least a report that would show an approximation of that cost at all levels would be helpful.

Thank you for raising this idea. I had the same thought, and this option would be really helpful for us as consultants/users. It's definitely essential.
RE:
All Office applications have a "Disable tips" option, Power BI really needs one. Popups appearing where you're just about to type is incredibly annoying when you experience all day long!

Hi @MS team,As "Auto-report as finished" function is supported with Retail sales posting. And "Auto-report as finished" is very useful in other areas of D365FO application like "Sales Order posting, Movement Journal, Transfer Journal and Counting Journal. Therefore it shall be supported sooner possible. thank you
RE:
how this is not implement yet?
