We have implemented PowerBI natively on top of OneStream with multiple customers without a connector, and not using flat files. It is not that difficult, to be honest I am not sure what a connector would really get you that you can't do already with the API.

I have a similar situation; I have 2 sets of bookmark groups, and when one is triggered to the state that shows the other, the second set remains in its last selected state even though the elements it controls are no longer in the state that they were expected in.
