Here's another code snippet that the spark.sql() function seems to break, allthough the code is able to run. The code below gives the red squiggly underline errors "no viable alternative at input '\n'" and "extraneous input '.' expecting {, 'assert', 'async'...". But the code still runs. The errors can be solved by using backslashes on each line for line continuation, but that makes the code messy. When commenting or removing the spark.sql() line, the errors disappear.df = spark.sql(query)df1 = (df        .withColumn("col1", lit(1))        .select(col('*'))    )

Any updates here? Is this going to take months or years? How can you guys make call this stuff "GA" without any sort of CI/CD or git integration? You guys need to eat your own dogfood. It is shameful that you build this platform for hosting software solutions, yet have no meaningful plan for supporting CI/CD or source control. In past decades, Microsoft used to build very high quality development tooling for data engineers. Now I just want to avoid anything from Microsoft, and seek open-source alternatives which are much more robust, have better tooling, and have better support.

This is an excellent suggestion and I'm unsure why it hasn't been upvoted more. We currently use a custom PowerApp to do quality reviews for agents but this is largely a manual and simplistic approach. Having the capability to do this built directly into Dynamics 365 would be game changing for supervisors and managers.

Hi,Apologies for delay. You are right, deactivating staging inactivates the query (it is shown in italics and greyed out). That was useful! One thing I would consider here is that Staging in documentation is created to improve performance and manage large volumes of data. It is not explicitly stated anywhere that disabling Staging will stop the query from running.Additionally, it seems that I needed to enable Staging and later disable it to stop the query from running (?). Here I'm not sure since it was strictly trial and error, but it would be beneficial if it was somehow clearly explained.

I believe the focus should be on actual versus estimated consumption, as this is where the differences in production will lie. The analysis of price variance for materials should be reviewed in terms of input variations. Ultimately, rather than requesting a process that simulates the completion of orders—something I understand is very complex—I would ask for a comprehensive report that analyzes deviations in production consumption, including both materials and resources.
