I agree with this Idea. I was about to post the same when I found this. Our end users find this new way of filtering on List Views particularly frustrating. They do not like the fact that only the top N filter values are displayed, rather than the filter values for the entire dataset. Also, the values displayed on the filter dropdown are only loaded from a certain number of records from the existing order in the list. If the sorting changes, the values displayed also change with them. It is maddening.We opened a support ticket for this and were told it is a design limitation of New Look. There is no workaround except to revert to the Old Look.
