It would be great if Microsoft could give us a status update on this important feature request. Personal gateway isn't going to cut it for production use with many/most larger organizations.

The fact that this is hidden behind a paywall thousands of dollars high blows my mind. This is a requirement for many of my clients, and they don't want to pay for premium purely to automate a PDF. We are having to migrate away from PowerBI to fullfill this requirement.

I want macros to insert constant code snippets and functions I use repeatedly when creating different reports. For example, creating data tables. I'm forever having to create that in every report and have to save these snippets in separate files. Being able to save them as macros to insert commonly used tables etc would be great.
