Agreed! When a model has many tables it would be helpful to reduce visual clutter and group them. Or even change the sort order. I ran into a situation where we wanted to name tables business friendly names but there were so many tables users couldn't find the fact table where all the measures were located because alphabetically it was more than half way down the list. For an enterprise reusable model you might have several groups using it for self service analytics grouping tables they could collapse expand groups of tables based on the use case for their analysis.

It would be very nice to see that FX button for conditional formatting on the legend as well. A client requested this and I couldn't believe this option was not available in Power BI Desktop. I couldn't find any workaround excepct using a custom visuals (search for Likert Scale in the Custom Visual App Store).
RE:
Work instructions are often similar across items and versions. A copy work instruction function will save hundreds of hours for those that are constantly building new BOMs, Formulas, and Routes. The solution could be as simple as placing a checkbox, called "copy instruction," within a parameter table or within the Copy BOM/Formula/Route prompt.

Adding this basic functionality would be greatly appreciated!

Such a base functionality, amazed at the oversight to not add it in.
